What I Do

  • Impact Planning

I bring practical expertise in developing clear, actionable theory of change models and outcomes frameworks that help organisations measure real impact and guide their strategy with confidence. Whether it’s simplifying complex ideas or designing tailored evaluation tools, I’m interested in  making evaluation work for you.

Working in NCVO’s evaluation team for three and half years gave me hands-on experience working with a range of charities evaluating programmes, building practical, user-friendly outcomes frameworks and theory of change models that truly make a difference. This background means I understand not just the theory, but how to apply it where it counts.

  • Evaluation and Learning

Conducting all stages of evaluation from outlining the scope and approach, creating a plan and choosing methods, to running evaluation activities, conducting analysis and co-creating actionable insights.

Helping to create systems and processes to embed reflection and  learning within your organisation, ensuring you’re capturing your progress and learning from what you do so boost your impact.

Having great evaluation and research findings and insights are good but until they’re shared with the people that will find them most useful, they aren’t being used to their full potential. I can help you take an audience-centred approach to doing that.

    Funding Programme Expertise

Having worked in grants management in the early part of my career I have experience of both designing and managing funding programmes and of evaluating them.

    Interviewing Expertise

I have experience in conducting research involving sensitive topics, with marginalised groups and people with serious medical conditions, their carers, family and medical professionals.

  • Strategic Research

Designing, planning and conducting strategic research to enable you to make evidence informed decisions to shape and achieve your strategic goals.
